Mining For Diamonds in Arkansas?

Sunday, September 30th, 2007

Ever wanted to mine for diamonds but can’t afford the trip to South Africa? Well with treasure hunting beginning to become trendy again companies and organizations are also on a treasure hunt to promote their products and services. It does not have to be a for profit organization to cash in on the recent trend either, take the Crater Of Diamonds State Park in Arkansas for example. At the Crater Of Diamonds park visitors are welcome to sift through soil for their chance to find a real diamond, and best of all whatever is found can be kept. Its the only diamond producing area open to the public in the entire world.

A large number of sizable diamonds have already been found in the park, with more and more discovieries being made each day. Even if you don’t find anything, surely mining for diamonds is more fun then whatever other activity you had planned for a State Park. .
