Oobject’s List Of 15 Sci-Fi Movie locations
Saturday, May 31st, 2008Oobject has put out a fascinating list of locations where famous sci-fi movies have been filmed. Some of the locations are so beautiful I can’t believe they where not movie sets. Other locations such as the London Opera house used for the Fifth Element revealed locations I had always wanted to visit, but had no way of knowing whether they even existed.

We Are The Strange the revolutionary animated feature film from M Dot Strange is now available on DVD. After touring film award shows the film can be purchased online for $19.99. The Film is rated PG 14, runs an hour and a half, and comes equipped with a large number of bonus features as well as a description of the making of the film. There is also an extraordinary large amount of subtitles on the DVD, so as long as you speak one of the more popular languages of this planet you should be able to understand it. Even if you don’t you should still be able to appreciate the fascinating animation. After all it is the film that took home the “Most Groundbreaking Film” award at the Fantasia Film Festival Montreal 2007. Truly an exciting DVD, We Are The Strange is a pleasure to watch.

We Are The Strange is a feature length film created by director M Dot Strange. The film uses a new form of animation M Dot Strange has dubbed Strangmania. The animation is a blend of video game style with motion picture animation, truly a site to behold. We are the Strange has been screened the the Sun Dance Film Festival and was met with mixed reviews, however since its original screening the movies has gone on to win multiple awards and has been praised for its originality. The movie has been described as “something Hollywood would make for 70 million dollars”, interestingly enough We Are The Strange was a one man production created using fairly standard computer and video equipment.
