Cigars Direct

Sunday, February 1st, 2009

Since I am Canadian I am permitted to travel to Cuba, my first trip to the country was when I fell in love with cigars. We purchased a large box of Monte Cristo’s and my first Cigar cutter and smoked one that night by the pool. It was the first time I had ever smoked something so large and nearly became sick. Nevertheless the experience has stuck with me, and left a good enough impression on me that I bought a box before leaving the country. The box I had purchased lasted for some time but eventually I was out and had to seek out a new source for my cigars.

I knew that the only way I would be able to purchase good cigars was to look online. I had tried to find a good cigar store locally, but all I found was cheap convince store cigars. I spent a good deal of time looking online, I even ordered some cigars from a couple sites, but I was still not satisfied with the cigars or the service. Finally on the recommendation of a friend I tried out the website Cigars Direct.

The site is easy to navigate and they have some of the finest cigars in the world available for reasonable prices. I am also very interested in signing up for their cigar of the month club. The monthly club only costs $29.99/month and Cigars Direct will ship five premium cigars to you ever month. The huge advantage of this is the ability to try so many different brands and tobacco combination’s before committing to a full box. This way I know that when I purchase a full box I will enjoy the cigars. Although the cigar of the month club looks like the best way to utilize the site, there are many other options available. Cigars Direct sells singles, five packs and even full boxes.

I also utilize the website for gifts, I had my wedding recently and we gave cigars out to the best man and all the groomsmen. For the best gifts check out the Opus X Gift Tins, a box of A. Fuente Short Stories and of course the cigar of the month club. One of my friends from overseas stayed at my place for the weekend, we had some cigars on the deck and he was hooked, he kept raving about how much he loved them. This Christmas I am considering signing him up for the monthly club…on the condition that he will hook me up with a few each month : )

On top of the amazing selection of cigars there is also a large amount of accessories available. There are cutters, cases, ashtrays, humidifiers, and even books on cigars. If you are looking to get more serious about you passion for cigars then this is the section for you.

Whatever you needs are Cigars Direct has got you covered. The selection is second to none and the price are amazing.
